Here is a little tune that I wrote yesterday after watching the Eddie Rivers videos mentioned in another thread. It is for A6 and is in the key of D. I call it 'Walking the Cat'. If you like it and would like a tab, drop me an email and I'll shoot you a PDF.

Nice tune, Guy. Reminds me of Jersey Bounce.

Funny you should say that, Doug. I have been trying to work it, too. Always a bit afraid to have 'written' something that already exists. My gypsy jazz mates reckon that it's 'Lulu Swing'. I was thinking that there was a hint of 'Steelin' the Blues' and maybe the horn line out of Louis Jordan's 'Calidonia' but I think you are right.

I figure I may as well put the tab up here, but if you would like a better quality PDF please email me.

I know the tune isn't particularly complicated but those slants that move from forward to reverse are a bit tricky. And the audio suggests that should follow Eddie Rivers example and put a bit more vibrato on that 9th chord in bar 13.
