Went to Kerrville, Tx on Thursday night to see Gene Watson. A great show and Danny was awesome. Of course, at first, could hardly hear the steel or lead, it was drums and bass but evened out toward the end.

What is it with these sound guys that run the bass, and drums at max volume, its like they only know how to do a hard rock concert.

Seen Danny with Gene Watson last year in the Nelsons Family Theatre, Knob Lick Mo. Sound was perfect and Danny knocked it out of the park. Many thanks to Gene Watson for keeping a steel player and for some great real county music. Killer band and wonderful show.

Thanks a bunch guys. This is my 5th year with Gene already and it's still a blast....you're right about him keeping steel. I told him once that I believe he'd get a drum machine before turning loose of the steel seat. He agreed!!!!!

Danny....met you a couple of years ago in Port Charlotte, FL. Sorry that ya'all have not made a return visit. Hope that that gets rectified soon or that we see you somewhere along the way.
