When I bought my first Sho-Bud steel at a music store in Birmingham, owner gave me a Fender volume pedal with it.
In 1972 I had the steel being adjusted at the Sho-Bud store in Nashville by Duane Marrs and he noticed the Fender pedal and said he could trade it for a Sho-Bud pedal if I wanted one so I did.
Found the receipt of the trade.
Duane ask me if we had ever been to the Grand Old Opry and I said no. He said hold on a minute and went in the office, he came back out and ask if we could come back by the store in about an hour. We did and he handed me two tickets to the Opry, I got my money out to pay and he said they were compliments of Shot Jackson and Sho-Bud.
