It seems that most 15" speakers that folks like, have a peak in the response curve around 2-3k. Has anyone used a speaker that has a flatter response? If so, did you like the sound?

That peak is usually more pronounced in 12" speakers. With most 15" speakers, it's seldom more than 5db, and that's not really enough to worry about, IMHO.
