New record came out a week ago and we are a week into our east coast run. Come out and say hi! The band is killer and there is a lot of steel. We wear suits every night so that's weird but idk. We are playing every major city in the country over the next two months check the website for dates:

These guys are amazing ! Great songs and brilliant musicians that are given plenty of room. Will is gonna be a famous guy and the guitar player, Kelly, is already a legend. Robert is a great songwriter and front man. If the tour was only him it would still be a show you should not miss.

Paul - looking forward to it!
Thank you Bob! Bummed that I didn't get to hang with you and Irina last weekend.
Chris - I guess the site may be weird to navigate. I'll post the dates.

I agree...that is an annoying website. If you click on the menu on the upper left you can actually get some information!

I'll assume you're joking. Robert Ellis, both the new album and the band, are killing it right now. If I could squeeze one of the closer shows into my calendar, I'd be there.

I saw him last night again, to give him a second chance. My interaction was a big letdown. THey are a great band but when i went to talk to them during their set they were SO rude.

I told them I couldnt understand the website either, and I complained to them about it. They didnt feel like they wanted to help my question, they said it was "IRRELEVANT". I got off stage, and they kept playing their set, pretty disappointing if you ask me.

You went ON STAGE to talk to them DURING their set?

Mark, have you tried to ask them about cool steel guitar stuff after the show ? No way . They just make fun of you unless they are busy actually playing.

Hey Jonathan you put out some great stuff here. Don't hurt yourself. Like many of us here, you're much too emotional and these guys are much too arrogant.

Will just called me, and we talked it out. Apparently it wasn't a set break and they were just in the middle of a song. And they were pretty upset about it. I didn't know, but it's all fine now. Robert has asked that I don't come to anymore shows. But he's not mad at me.

Will was playing a twin reverb in a head cabinet, through a THD 2x12 w JBLs.

I think he played a rains but I think there are no mechanics under the c6 neck. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Big fan of Will's playing from the early years of Roberts career and then that terrible mishap on stage happened which involved him wearing short short's behind the steel...I really admire Robert keeping the guy on, but I personally cannot look Will in the eye after that.

I saw them in poquipsy. I believe will was playing a steel guitar? Can anyone help with tabs for this song?

Will. Do you use a glass bar ever. Love the tone.

I have no dog in this hunt, but shorts behind a steel is pretty inexcusable, especially if there were sandals involved. Please tell me there weren't.

Mike neer. Never ever come to one of my bar gigs in the summer.
Larry bird level short shorts and flip flops.
Steel guitar is totally on its way out, I'm just helping kick it out the door faster.

Bob Ellis, I has tabs.

Jonny, you are doing a fine job ushering it out. Keep up the good work. I may show at one of your gigs and bother you.

Well, Robert wasn't kidding when he said not to come to another show. Let's just say, we are NOT on good terms.
