Topic: Steel Guitar Convention Protesters? |

As I watch the Republican Convention roll into New York, I started thinking of another convention.
If there were protesters at the International Steel Guitar Convention, what would their issues be? What would their placards read? What would be the names of their groups?
Hmm..........
"Equal Rights For Universal Players Everywhere"?
"Just Intonation Justice For All"?
"B@njo Players Need Respect Too"?
(Disclaimer: Although this topic relates to steel guitar, I sincerely hope it gets moved to humor)

A chicken in every pot, and a push pull in every garage.

Some signs seen at past Conventions:
- Wound Sixth Strings (E9 G#) Rule!
- NO JUSTICE FOR JUST INTONATION
- If It Ain't Country It Ain't Music!
- Unwound Sixth Strings (E9 G#) Rule!
- MORE ELEVATORS!
and watch out for the Irish Priest wearing a dress that plans to rush the stage. |

Stop the Slaughter! High G# strings speak out.
Ban the AB change! People with taste against country music.
Survive this! Long time convention goers against Ray Price shuffles.

Owners of "black" Emmons P/P guitars are guilty of "reverse discrimination". "White Emmons guitars need love too". |
