I need a new cover for my Nashville 112. I don't want to do a hard road case- I just want a heavy duty slip case. I have a thin vinyl cover from Peavey that doesn't do much, and is falling apart. And I am gigging with this amp about 3-5 times / week currently, so the amp is constantly going into the car and coming back out.

Apparently this company used to be called "BS Covers" (what a terrible name!)

The products look great on the site and are very decently priced ($40), but there are a lot of complaints to be found online of people not receiving their cover after payment. Or, the amp reeking of smoke, and terrible customer service.

There is Tuki covers which are padded and more expensive (~$70).

I've considered making one, but I'm not an experienced sew-er. I'm not a sewer either. (What do you call a male seamstress?)

I've considered making one with that fuzzy gray material used for cabinet covering, or carpeting. Maybe put it together with glue rather than thread.

Ideas/sources?

Cover marketed for the Fender 'Mustang 3' amp, fits like a glove (if you don't mind the Fender logo). Around $25.00 from any on line store.

If you want a nice cover, contact Leann Sharp with Sharp covers. She made me some amp covers and I couldn't be happier.

Here's another shout for D2F covers. Tom produces covers specific to the dimensions of any model of steel or amp. He has stock covers for all commonly used amps. I haven't purchased an amp cover from Tom but I have purchased several steel covers. I recommend them.

I bought an MDB cover last year for my Music Man. I gave him dimensions, and the cover fits great! (Has the nice touch of covering the space under the handle).

several people here make quality covers.
i was lucky. my dad had a canvas shop . he made boat covers and cushions and anything anyone wanted.
back in the '70s he made me a cover for my ltd400
that was canvas with a liner and a quilted stitching pattern. i still use it today. it offers slightly more padding and has endured hellish abuse.

one of the best quality items i got from dad alongside my buck knife, swiss army knife and zippo lighter!

They have an optional "board pouch" - you cut some hardboard to fit, slide it in, zip up the velcro and it does a great job of protecting the grill cloth and, crucially, the knobs on your N112. A lightweight alternative to a hard case and very well made.

I saw a guy with a cardboard and duct tape cover he used for years.

D2F and don't look back. Had my NV112 cover for about 8-9 years now, it still looks like new and so does the amp because of the cover. Also have one for my Mullen for the same amount of time, same story. They do not wear out. And I used to gig a lot.

Cardboard and duct tape; I know a young fellow that plays a lot of gigs who has used the same cardboard and tape cover for at least 5 years. You probably can not beat that price.

Used cardboard and duct or packaging tape for years, one lasted over seven years,just redid tape every few years.I used heavy cardboard so I could use it as amp stand also.

I've got Sharp covers and D2F covers. They're both a bit "spendy", but worth the investment.

The cardboard and duct tape covers are pretty ugly; but, they get the job done and are easy on the wallet!
