I've always struggled with keeping my mind right around where to grab the best most convenient position and combination for chords.
I bought this the other day, and I love it.
If you're new or even semi new to pedal steel I recommend you invest the $5 in this.
At least IMHO it's worth it..

Thanks. My Books have chord charts but something stand alone I could hang in my room would be useful.
Thanks again!
I wonder if there is a C6 version? I will look.

When I tried to learn to play steel 36 or so years ago, this book and one other that covered basics slanted towards a Maverick was all there was. No teachers near my area.

I bought this C6th Chord Dictionary in the late 70s at the Sho-Bud Store on Lower Broad in Nashville. I don't remember what it cost.
I asked Neil about it last fall in St. Louis and he said it took him three years to translate it from a regular guitar chord book.
When I switched back to playing steel after playing jazz guitar for 15 years, it really sped up my ability to move jazz tunes to the steel.
I don't know where you could find one today.
