Need a favor. If one of you guys has one of the original Session 400's with the silver knobs and black inserts, would you mind measuring the center black insert please? You know, the ones that always curl up and fall out.

I want to punch out a few replacement centers. Thanks. JO.

They look to be 1/2" or (12mm) but I don't have a micrometer.

Thank you Kevin. I was thinking 1/2" was about right.
That would be between 12 and 13 mm though, but that's close enough.

Thanks again.

I just measured mine. They look to be a whisker on the high side of 17/32', but just shy of 9/16"....call it 14 mm.

FWIW, I solved the problem many years ago when I worked in a Formica shop. I cut little circles out of scrap Formica and glued them on. Two different colors... A lot of meticulous hand filing, but a permanent solution....well, they've lasted 35 yrs so far. For the dots, I just drilled a "dimple" and filled it with black paint.
