We have several players on the board who speak of using bass amps for PSG. Anyone use this Markbass head? Thoughts?

I tried one of those when I was looking for a replacement for the MB200. It was very "sterile" and I sent it back.

I later bought a Carvin BX500 and completely happy with it. The BX500 has a 12AX7 tube in the preamp section (switchable in or out). The Tube makes the difference. Our lead guitar player, who is a "must have Fender tube amp" type likes the BX500.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Jack. I've been looking at the Carvin too. Heard good things about it, but haven't actually heard one.
