That's a good looking guitar. A great price for a beginner and a fine guitar for a pro.
Don built me an S-10 a couple of years ago and I just love it. It sounds great through all my amps. Easy to set up or make changes to. Mine also has a 705 pickup.
My skinny arms and weak back love it, too!

There are only two options as I see it.

Hey Adam, if you were interested in buying my BMI, I'm pretty confident that shipping the guitar to you shouldn't be an issue as I would ship direct from my company, fully insured with direct signature required. I've shipped a lot of gear through the years and haven't lost a piece. Also, you're not too terribly far as I'm basically in Kansas City.
Best,
Scotty

Scotty these are very good steels. I have 2 SD10's. One is exactly like your's except for pad and 5th lever. s/n on mine is 625 made in 86 so your's is probably newer. If I was in need of one I would be after it. I only live about 75 miles south east of you. Good luck Wes

Hi Wesley! Thanks for the dating info, as I was pretty much guessing from other posts I had seen. So perhaps a late 80's build date?
Good to know that you're just down the road neighbor...
Best,
Scotty

Hi Scotty,
I have a sister to your guitar, except she's black. When I got her, someone had messed her up a little underneath, rods were crisscrossed, levers set up wrong, etc. I had very little trouble getting her straightened out, plus I moved a knee lever over to where I could reach it. She was pretty easy for me to work on, and I'm a girl, so. . . .
Absolutely love the tone and playing ability of this model of guitar.
Hope she finds a good home.

Hi Lynn,
Thanks for the BMI family update! Black is always a cool finish on a guitar in my book as my new Mullen is black too. Yup, these BMIs are really nice, solid axes and as you mentioned, easy to make changes on...
Keep on steelin' in PA!!
Best,
Scotty

steel guitar for sale
Scotty,
Could this steel be converted over to a C 6th tuning? I am interested if that is possible.
Thank You, Ken
