I bought a new to me old Peavy Nashville 400 amp. It's great amp I just want to know how old it is. The serial No. starts with OA o478.... If that is any help.

If you call Peavey Customer Service, they will be glad to look up that information for you.

Many of the Nashville 400's had a date code on the label, in the lower right hand corner, 2 numbers indicating the year.

I thought the first number is the last digit of the year.
So yours would be a 1990 (I don't think they still made the 400 in 2000)
