Hi, I was just wondering how many play the Williams steel guitar and how do you like them ? As for myself i love mine and you can add changes in five or ten minutes .All you have to do is tell Mr. Rudolph what you have in mind and he is more than willing to help out with the parts . I just added a new change on mine and i can't believe how easy it was and it works great . Please i don't mean to start a war here but just looking for positive input . Mica/Plastic is for countertops and something is hidden behind it. Wood is for guitars and the natural beauty shows through. How about that Gary?

I received my Williams SD10 in June and could not be more satisfied with my choice. It looks and sounds great, and is a joy to play.

I had a Williams S10, keyless, with 400 changer, 5/5 and I liked it real well. Also nice and lightweight to carry. I only sold it because I wanted a S12........al

Hi Gary, glad you're feeling better. The two covers you're making now will take care of all five of my steels. I sold my Sho Bud a couple of months ago, so the new owner will have to spring for a cover for it. LOL.

I play a Williams D-10 400 and a Emmons D-10 Legrande, I like them both.

Picked up my Williams Sl2 (5 and 7) in May and I am really happy with it. It plays solid and smooth, and sounds great. I also have a ShoBud LDG, but have played only the Williams since I got it. Leon

There is a guy in Vienna, Austria who plays a Williams S-10. I helped him purchase it (he doesn't speak English) and of course I also tried it - great guitar!!!

And dealing with Bill Rudolph is always a pleasure. Great job, Bill!

Walter, interesting that you helped a guy in Germany buy a Williams.

A couple of years ago Forumite Steve Takacs graciously assisted me in buying a steel for one of the few Filipino steelers, Cris Bordon. I had met Cris in 85 while on a DOD tour there. He and his family have a band. He had tremendous desire to play but was working with a broken down patched up Japanese steel (not an Excel).

Years later I found a good, reasonably priced Willliams S 10 in the Forum. We purchased it and sent it to Cris around 2000.

If you are ever in Angeles City, Luzon, Philippines, drop into Midnight Rodeo; you'll see a happy Cris Bordon seated behind a red Williams--possibly the only one in Asia?

Within the last 2 years Bill Rudolph shipped a D-12 Williams PSG to Tokyo, Japan. It was the same color as the D-10 that Greg Cutshaw had a few years ago.
