So I finally had it with using a cheap rogue leg stand setup. Twice I had to replace the legs.

Each time I had to buy an entire cheap Lap Steel Guitar then take the legs.

So I ordered a deluxe 34 stand as used by Brad, Mike and many others.

Can't wait for it to arrive over the pond. Hopefully customs etc won't take forever.

I needed a sturdy setup as I'm starting to do regular studio and gigging now. Looking to go Pro. Super excited and feel like a kid again. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

I just noticed Bill Asher has a very similar model

For a little bit more. What is the difference it looks almost identical

You won't be disappointed. Asher's site indicates the stand was designed by Mark Roeder, he's the owner of Deluxe34.

I've been using the universal stand with 3 legs for a year and a half and it's great! I have two supros (a 6 string comet and 8 string airliner) and they switch in and out easily and stay right in place. The 8 string has its own legs but I like the idea of less wear and tear on the old parts if I can help it.

Can't wait. It's just getting taxed now by customs so hopefully they'll hurry up on their end

I look forward to no more wobble when I'm playing. And it couldn't arrive at a better time. Currently I'm supporting the broken leg with my right foot and knee. Rolling Eyes
