Bill Lawrence web site?

Post by Butch Pytko »

Does anyone have any information if the Bill Lawrence people are still making pickups? I sent an email yesterday and so far no answer.

But, yesterday in my search of where to buy Bill Lawrence pickups, I came across Steel Guitar Canada's advertisement of the LXR-16 narrow mount pickup--I emailed them to see if they knew anything about the wide mount version and Al Brisco got back to me real fast and said that he has been trying to contact the Bill Lawrence people for a year--with no answer! AND HE'S A DEALER! Thanks.

They are still making pickups, my experience has been that the customer service with regard to answering emails and phone calls is quite poor. The wait time for pickups was quite long as well, mine took about two and a half months. I had a problem with one of my pickups right out of the box and the issue is still not resolved. I would probably not purchase from them again

The Bill Lawrence Facebook site remains quite active (last posting was about an hour ago). I think it is being maintained by Bill's widow, Becky. If you're a Facebook member, you may try contacting them via that platform.

Do be sure that you are dealing with this company:

http://wildepickups.com/Home_Page.html

This one:

http://www.billlawrenceusa.com/

is NOT the late Bill Lawrence or Becky's company.

I ordered a 710 from Wilde Pickups back in December and it took a couple of weeks but product arrived and I was very pleased with it.
