Hi fellows steelers,
Is anyone familiar with Ram steel guitars?
I am in the market for a good used 8-string. There is a local player selling two Ram steels for a good price.
Thanks
Al

I've never seen one in person but I've admired Ron's work online and I've seen testimonials and heard sound clips from happy owners.

I have a RAM Speakeasy, and it is a very nice guitar. Well made, good finish, plays and sounds great. I can't imagine that you wouldn't be happy with one!

Hi Allen,
There is One for sale here on the forum.
Very nice looking S-8 with terrific birdseye at a good price.
Have a look in the for Steel Guitars sale page...
He said it needs a ground wire. That is very easy to fix.
Best wishes,
Andy

Thanks for the input. One is a solid body and the other has a cavity of some sort. It’ll be interesting to hear how they sound.
