I was there also and as I recall, Buddy was using a Standel. It seems I recall hearing or reading on the Forum that it was an older one that Mike Cass loaned him. All I know for sure is that it sounded excellent!

The album was recorded over 10 years before the Steel King was ever dreamed of.
