Away back in 1971 I published a booklet titled “Chord Construction for the Steel Guitarist.” In about 1980 I didn't print any more copies of it and just let it die. After all these years, I decided to re-write it. I'll soon have it up on my web site as a FREE download for anyone who requests it. Before I do that I would like to have about 5 "chord-knowledgeable" Forum members read and critically evaluate it. I would also like about 5 other Forum members read it who feel they aren't that "chord-knowledgeable," but then let me know if they learned something from studying it.

If you would like to participate in this, please email me at tommybradshaw@gmail.com. I’ll then send you the file and hope to get some critical feedback from everyone. When contacting me, please advise me of which group of 5 you feel you are a member of. Thanks. ... Tom

WOW... Tom I still have the original copy. Not only did I learn all about chord construction but also it applies to the Nashville Number System. I have helped many friends through the years learn how chord construction works and how it applies to the number system from your work. It's not only for steel players, but applies to all music and musicians as well. Thanks for all you've done for Steel Guitars and players through the years. Don.

Hey Don: You're the guy who should be evaluating my re-write of the old booklet. Please email me and I'll send you the draft of it so you can provide the constructive criticism I'm looking for. ...Tom
P.S.: For everyone else, I do believe I have sufficient reviewers now, so my original request here has been adequately fulfilled. Once the paper is finalized, I'll be alerting everyone where they can download a copy of it.
