Remington Pedal Steel Guitars no more?

Post by Dave Burr »

I just looked at Herb's website and it no longer has Pedal Steel Guitars listed. Will he no longer be making them? I hope it's not true. I love mine.

I met Herb couple of years ago when I bought my NV400 from him. Great guy and been to his house where he was making his PSGs and other steel guitars here in Houston, TX. He was sort of complaining that no one in his family was interested in taking over that business of making PSGs. He is getting old, so doesn't surprise me if he is not making PSGs any more. He loves to play them. He entertained me with his PSGs for over an hour when I was just having some interest for PSGs at that time. I didn't start getting into it much later although I bought that amp at that time.
