I am having a bit of trouble rolling my ankles over on my old Pro 1 with the wide pedals, due to an old injury. I feel that narrower pedals would help me out of this predicament. Are replacement narrow pedals available? I would hope that if they exist, that they could be a straight changeover, without any modification neccessary.....does such a kit exist???

Hey Chris,
I had the same problem in '77 or '78 when I got my old ShoBud S-12. I knew a player in LA then named Sergio Tuccironi who had taken his guitar to ShoBud and they cut the pedals off with a bandsaw. I took mine off the pedal rod and just put each one in a vice and took a hacksaw and cut some off of each side until they were the right width. You've got the grating on top to guide the saw so you make a straight cut. It's easy and a good thing to do. You can fine sand the sides of the pedals after you cut them and they'll be fine. There's no need in investing in new pedals....Have a good 'un, JH
