Adjusting the Hilton Volume pedal

I have a newer Hilton Volume Pedal, the one where the power supply disconnects.
I have to push it about half way before the volume starts to come on. There are 2 buttons underneath, one near the heel says cut off. The other one is about half way on the pedal. I think it's the one that says cut off that needs to be adjusted. Which way would I turn it so as to have the pedal open as soon as I press it.?
thanks in advance.

I turned it clockwise to have it let signal through when off.

I also set mine to have a very low volume in the off position.

OK thanks much. It used to have a very low volume in the off position. Don't know why or how it ever changed. Wasn't sure which way to turn it, & didn't want to make it worse.
What is the middle one for??

The other one should be a volume output control, to control
the signal output going to the amplifier. I have 3 on mine
with the third one being a tone control.

Carl, where is your tone control located?? Just to the right of my cut off control is a little black plastic plug.

If you hold your pedal pedal with the Hilton name up,
the Off Point will be on the bottom left and the Volume
Control to the right. Tone control is higher in the center.
The latest pedals don't have a Tone control, just a plastic
or rubber plug where the Tone control used to be.

Carl I have a plastic flat plug where your volume control is. I will pull the plug, maybe the volume control is under it.

I don't think the late model Hilton pedals have Tone or Volume pedals.
They only have a Off Point, That is why I'll always keep my older ones.
Cheaper to make, but like everything else the price never goes down.

Just pulled the plug, nothing under but some wires. But mine does have a control where your tone control is. Yes my older Hilton had 3 controls at the bottom, but it was a high pedal & I traded for this low one a couple of years ago.

One more question...

My Hilton lets too much volume out at the “off” position. I want to decrease that volume level at the “off” position, but still allow “some” volume there.

Which way do I turn the “OFF POSITION” dial to do that? I don’t want to screw this up!

Thanks.

You asked this on a separate thread.
Just try one way, and if you don't like it try the other.
You can't break anything.
I keep a little volume in the closed position as the music I play doesn't call for much silence.

Be careful to not force the controls because they can be damaged. They need to be set and left alone.
