Don't know what thread size the National has, or anything about the seller, but I saw legs on ebay. Seller is deluxe34-stands. Looks like they telescope for stand up or sit down position.

Search steel guitar legs in musical instruments on ebay if interested.

You can get a set from Don Burrows of BSG guitars and he will put any size of threaded plugs in them (just let him know the desired thread(tpi) and threaded end dia. of plug. If he doesn't stock it ,he will turn out what u need. Don's legs are some of the best made legs available. (Not actually Don's real legs.....but a much prettier custom built set)....no offense to Don's real legs, but......u get my drift. :P also Don and Ruby are two of the nicest folks you will ever talk with bar none..http://bsgsteelguitars.com/

I bought legs from Deluxe34 and I'm very happy with them.

I finally had all my 1979 MSA's legs stripped, and was desperate. I contacted Scotty's - they spoke of finding a machinist who could make a set of these "glorified mic stands", but then was told of a guy up my neck of the woods.
Don, who runs http://bsgsteelguitars.com/, took care of me for a reasonable rate, and his work was great.
That was several years back, but he appears to still be in business. Good guy.
