Hey Mickey, welcome to the great state of Colorado! I'm in Denver and would love to meet up for a beer. I'll PM you shortly. John Macy and Jeff Rady would be great players to know...both are on the forum!
Best,
Chris

That's cool Mickey. And I don't mean just the temperature. Colorado is my favorite state. My (now ex) wife and I wanted to retire to Grand Junction. But....

Welcome to Colorado, Mickey. You're surrounded by steel guitar in the Denver area. You'll see that most of them play Mullen's steels, too. That's what helped me make a decision to play a Mullen.
Dick Meis and Lois are at the White fence farm on Jewel blvd on Sundays. You can also get a good dinner there. Chuck Lettes also resides here but I don't know his contact info.
Let us know if you ever do a seminar and I think you'll have a great turnout.
Looking forward to meeting you at some point, too!!

Welcome to Colorado, Mickey! I've really enjoyed your lessons online, they helped a lot when I first started out - it would be great to set up a lesson in person sometime!
Cheers, hope you love it out here... I'm going on 10 years and haven't looked back!
EDIT - PS, you should look up the Park House in Denver on Colfax - great little local musician hang spot/venue with a New Orleans inspired menu, and fellow forumite John Macy has a nice studio in the back as well. He's organized some great steel events featuring Bruce Bouton, Neil Flanz, etc., so worth checking out sometime.

If you are in that little RV park run by the city of Golden, you are in a great spot. Stayed there many times

Welcome, and come by for a visit! We do a thing called the Denver Steel Guitar Social Club at the Park House in Denver on occasion, and maybe we can have one with you after the first of the year to get everyone together...glad to have you here...(and as much as I love and respect Del, not all of us play a Mullen
)
