Just a quick shout out to Larry Behm, I just received his DVD "Mechanical Advantage" and have watched about half of it this week. His explanation of how to sit and adjust your steel has proved invaluable. I finally feel like I can get the steel to fit me. Being a big tall guy (6'4") with a long torso, sitting has always felt awkward. I was able to get into a good position and adjust the guitar after about 9 months of playing and it finally feels great.
I'm not affiliated with Larry, but the DVD is totally worthwhile so far. (Im just getting my head around ring finger blocking.....) |

Adam thanks for the kind words.
Everything I teach in those vid's I got from talking to and watching every player I could, from Buddy E to Buddy C to Jeff, to JD, to Paul and so on.
Every tip is not for everyone, but a guide to help us all get closer.
I have sat with about 70 players over the years, new players and established players working together to put us all in a position to win.
I am having a blast, sounds like you are too.

A big ditto for Larry's courses. His C6 course is great as well, some really neat ideas I've not seen anywhere else. Vol. 2 anytime soon?
