IMHO, the price is way too much for what is there. As it is, I'd say it's about a $250 item. Buying the necessary replacement parts to make it whole again could cost you $350-$450, and then it would probably only be worth about $600-$700.

Don't do it. Last I checked, Al Brisco had a very limited supply of parts left for these... and that was over two years ago.

About the only thing you could do with it is get legs and use it as a non-pedal guitar. Along with the cost of legs, a less-noisy pickup will probably be desired too. If it is an early CS with the Bill-Lawrence-built pickup, then it might be okay. But, the later pickups (like the one mine came with) were no good. I can't open the link right now, so I don't know which it has.
