I have one. Sound on Sound. The inventor, and Forum member Don Dixon found it for me years ago. Rebuilt by the late Mike Battles with a new motor etc.. Many people think Mike invented it. He did not! Don did!
That was a very good price even needing service.
I remember playing a gig using it for slap back on my Tele. The tape broke, so during break, I took it out of the chain. After the first song, our sound man came up and asked what I'd done to ruin my sound. Back in line went the EP! Something about it's 6 volt tube circuit is just magical. Great on steel too!
