I live near Chicago but will be visiting my daughter and son in law near L.A. Nov 14-16. I'd like to go see some live pedal steel. Anyone got any ideas? _________________ MSA Classic D-10 XL 8 & 4 August, 1976

I would check to see if the Freightshakers or Sam Outlaw are playing one of those dates. These acts feature great local steel players Jeremy Long, Gary Brandin, and Dave Berzanksy. Also, monster player Rich Hinman may have something going in LA on those dates so I would check with him as well.
If you are in Orange County, I'm playing with my group in Costa Mesa on the 14th. But I'm a newbie! _________________ My site |

Mr. Bovine,
Thoroughly enjoyed listening to you and Mr. Lofgren playing last night!
BTW I believe you were mentioned on Sirius Outlaw Country this morning. Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale were interviewing Peter Asher, Edie ??, and a third person; I didn't catch the whole exchange. Synchronicity. |
