Beautiful guitar!
Looks like they are well-engineered also.

Yes; kinda looks like a 60's sunburst Strat!

Wow! Judging by that sound bite and the Sarah Jory endorsement, I'd say it's a contender.
Interesting in that it appears to use brass fingers and mentions the use of bearings in the changer.

+1
The mirrored bursts look great but the assymetry of the half burst corresponds better to the asymmetry of the keyhead and changer ends of the guitar. Overall... providing more visual balance...IMO of course.
Beautiful!

That is really a nice looking guitar.
I've looked at his web site, and the guitars are very impressive. I think getting one sent to the US would be expensive, however.
I hope you enjoy it!

Tom, that's just beautiful. Any chance of some photographs of the undercarriage? Purely for my collection of steel-guitar "porn", you understand!
(Seriously...I save many, many photographs from the forum simply because it forms a very useful archive of information which comes in handy at the most unexpected times and situations.)

Stops

Notice the Nylon or plastic caps on the knee lever stops. I would like to put something like that on my mullen stops. The screw stops on the mullen are leaving a gouge in the knee lever where they make contact. Would I run into any trouble putting one on and then moving the screw to compensate for the added length?

To replicate the plastic stops, you could get nylon acorn nuts at Lowes.

Comparing the 2011 and 2006 Marc Horn videos... his tone was ok in 2006 and spectacular in 2011... wonder what changed in his signal chain or what was going on. ... any ideas?

Beautifully made steels. One was the raffle prize at the recent Irish Steel Guitar Festival. I was fortunate enough to covert it from all sides!!

and the "basic" is probably, as the "stage one", the best student model on the market.
