This has been inquired of other psg's, but how many out there own a Sho-Bud Fingertip? Single or Double? 10 or 12? Pedals & Knees? Tunings? An old guitar with various challenges, yes, but revered by many for looks and tone. I am told possibly some 400(?) total made. Tell us about your "Fingertip" and post pics if you can, years owned, do you still play it? Mine is a '67 D-10 w/ 9x4, black lacquer top w/ mahogany aprons Ser. 7 213 213 owned since '71; added 3 knees in '75; new improved bell cranks in '01. I'd post pics but don't know how. I'll probably keep it forever because it's worth more to me than anyone else.

Mine's a 66 I believe, 8&4 D-10 standard tunings. I believe I remember reading in a post here somewhere that only about 100 D-10 Fingertips were built. Not sure about the others.

Fred that fingertip on E-bay was a basterdized guitar, alot of non original parts and the SB name was scrathed off.(may have been stolen at one time) I would have liked to have it for parts. George I sent you an E-mail did you ever get it? I think I sent a pic of my Pro also.

Fred, thanks for the info and reply.
George, that could be, but let me ask "Dr." Seymour, he may remember.
Skip, there could be several FT's out there that have been cobbled on. Too bad too. Ever how many FT's that are out there, I can't help but think that many of them could be made into really good, reliable, playable guitars with some work. I'd like to hear one with a set of Jagwire stainless strings and a pr. of Wallace 17,500 True Tone's in it. Best Regards,
