These two blonde Emmons beauties belong to John Davis from the UK and they were recently rebuilt by Tommy Cass in Massachusetts. Tom has done all of my PSG work for the past 20 years or so. The underside of these guitars is amazing too. Every metal part is buffed to a mirror finish. These pictures are posted in another thread, but I thought they deserved a separate thread.

Too much, Doug. I´m not an Emmons player, but I find most of those with a lacquer finish are stunning. Only, if that beauty was mine, I´d never lay the bar or anything else between the necks...

Doug,

'Tis a nice reflection of a true gentleman's fine work. The world needs craftsmen like Tommy to produce unprecedented advancements, in the art of restoration.

Very nice guitars John, you're probably now gonna make my buddy Greg Jones want to go out and buy a Emmons. He knows I'd like to see that !

I played the bottom Blondie one for 2 hours and she sounds as sweet as she looks.
Tight, precise and trim in all respects, played like a dream.

John, thanks for the invitation. I am over due for a London theater weekend, and a nice steel side trip to Cambridge would be cool to.

I am debating skiing in Val D'Isere or theater in London in March.

PS Jay that is too sweet, and withy a wagon wheel in the frame too.
Rollin rollin rollin
keep those Emmons rollin, Budddyyyyyy
