Such a joy. Another fancy Java-scripted website that doesn't work properly on my Netscape browser.

Yowza, thanks for posting that one. A fellow gets back after a long break and what a cool topic.
Fun to read the selling points and descriptions. Very nice.

The ones on the Gretsch-site are as original as any you will see sold as "original vintage", like the one on the above link. Same goes with the cool metallic Bigsby decal stickers occasionally seen on ebay. Ted McCarthy acquired piles of paper stuff when he bought Paul Bigsby's company and inventory, including cardboard drink coasters, tuning booklets, catalogs and decal stickers. Ted McCarthy did print himself flyer ads for vibratos and vol/tone pedals, but not these guitar catalogs. Nor has Gretsch, they are original old stock. 25 bucks is a bargain considering, that before these surfaced, some vintage dealers were offering a catalog and a drink coaster for $200!!!

It looks like the exact same catalog, big price difference though. The ones from Gretsch are not reprints but new old stock.
