I've always had a problem with my super pro picking up 60Hz noise from light dimmers. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix other than replacing the stock pickups with humbuckers.

Yes I do; But I need to know a few things about your Shobuds particular wiring as it is...> so Email me if you like and we can brainstorm it together as I've had some great success with lowering the hum with single coil pickups installed.

Barry,

It's not the fault of the Sho-Buds
pick-up's, it is the fault of the light dimmer. This is a result of the dimmer's resistance while alternating power in the line which shows up on the neutral leg of the romex which is what most homes and clubs are wired with.

"Although not recomended",the least expensive fix for this is to drop the ground from the electrical plug from you're amp.

The alternative to this is much much more expensive.

Graham
