I just bought a S-10, E9 Carter steel but it does not have split tuning, what can I do,,,,,,,thanks, Gary Very Happy

Carters used an additional rod, going from the bellcrank (which also has the lowering rod on it) to a raise hole in the relevant finger. The nylon tuner for this rod is coloured black, so that it can be easily identified.
