I will say this, the pictures of every guitar I have seen posted by you are stunning. This guitar looks killer.

thank you Mike, I think I have almost more fun taking pictures then playing, and my camera is much lighter to work with than a guitar lol...and this is,indeed, a wonderful guitar, one of the best sounding guitars I had lately... I guess that 710 doesn't hurt the tone either...

Damir if I didn't already own one just like your Rains, that baby would be on it's way to West Virginia.

I have a 705 installed in mine but I'm sure your guitar being a Rains, Black and Tone to the Bone.

David Chambers here on the forum contacted me last week about finding a used Rains or even a new one.

PM me and I'll send you his phone number.

Rains 710 Pickups

Post by Clark Connell »

I have a Rains D-10, that I bought used about 4 years ago. I believe it was one of Gary's first guitars after he took over Rains Guitars. It had pickups on it like the ones in this post, but FedEx broke the one on the C6th neck in shipment, and I had to get a 705 for it, because these were no longer being made. Any idea where I could get one (or a pair) of these so that they match on my guitar. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks!!!

How Many Knees?

Post by Tommy Auldridge »

Damir: How many knee levers does this one have? I have a student who might be interested. He's not on the Forum, and has me searching to find him a good single neck. Thanks, Tommy........
