Chris, perhaps this will do it...I've NO experience with it on your particular application, but had good luck glueing the rubber-like pad back on my Volume Pedal. And yes, I'd recommend clamping it, maybe even that blue painters tape, to hold?

Chris, the Duco cement Edward has suggested would be an approved fix. It should probably be lightly clamped for a few hours. |

Bruce recommended contact cement. I need to reattach mine. Eventually I'll g the around to it. P
Upside to contact cement:clamping not necessary, in fact kinda silly.
Downside to contact cement:you get one shot. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Another tip when using contact cement. If you get some outside the area you're working on, don't try to clean it up immediately. Let it set a few minutes and you can lift it cleanly with duct tape. _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |

My 1982 Zum did the same thing. The metal strip at the top rear came loose. I used a small brush and put some contact cement on both the strip and the Formica and waited a few minutes until the contact cement dried a little and was tacky, about like masking tape. Pressed the two together, never had a problem since. |

I have used Loctite gel control. Basically a non drip super glue. _________________ Bob |

Not used it for a PSG, but I've applied veneer-like layers with contact cement. It's dead easy and strong. As Lane, says you only get one shot, but unless the pieces that are starting to separate are warped, you've probably already got a natural guide in pushing them back together.
Contact cement is often used in construction for putting formica laminates (and other types) over various plywoods, MDF's, etc. |
