ZUM PSG seem to have a very good feedback from owners, but it's hard to find some information (no web site ...).

So, could you help me a little bit please ?

Could you tell me please :

- What is the price for a new D10 (Mica and lacquer finish, standard set up) ?

- What is the price for a new S10 (Mica and lacquer finish, standard set up) ?

- What is the price for a new SD10 (Mica and lacquer finish, standard set up) ?

Could you please give me the phone and address (and email if so) of Bruce Zumsteg in order to find at what time I could phone him (I'm in France) ?

Is there anybody here who could tell me the year (and month ?!) of the PSG with serial number SD10 35742 please ?

Thanks in advance for all your information and opinion about ZUM steel guitars.

Ok, thank you all for the information, I've sent a letter to Bruce Zumsteg.
After receiving his brochure I'll try to phone him choosing the good time to avoid to phone in the middle of night for him !

Lyon is a nice town yes, but no more trolleybuses, just a single old bus in "La Croix Rousse" district, and now there is a new Tramway since 2 years.

A little bit off topic :
I was wrong about the trolleybuses (I don't live in Lyon, just a little town close to), the old one in "La croix rousse" I was talking about is one of them : http://perso.wanadoo.fr/edouard.paris/200108.jpg

To stay on the subject, is it possible and easily to change the pickup on a Zum steel for a TT or for a George L's humbucker or other ?

Thank you very much - great photos!

Bruce will, of course, put any pick-up you want in the guitar - I had BL910s. I can't imagine that changing them would be difficult (except if I were to try!)

Sorry, b0b, for subverting the Forum with trolleybus pictures, but they're an obsession of mine......

Oliver... changing the pick-ups is no big deal, just take you time. Make yourself a wiring diagram as you remove the originals so you can be sure to get the replacements back correctly. Or better yet, have Bruce install your pick-up of choice. I had 910's in mine, but replaced them with 18,500 ohm TrueTones. What a difference they made! You would have my vote on those, and Bruce will put those in for you. Good luck.
