For those interested in the Carvin BX500 or other Bass amps Carvin is offering 10% off until August 15th. I was also able to get them to discount freight as well.

| Carvin has been all over the place with the price on this unit (BX500). When I started thinking about this unit a year ago I think they were $319. Early this year it went to $349 and then $379 and then $399. I email and asked what was going on with their pricing and they offered it to me @ $379. The next day they had the 10% of sale. I figured I had better order while it was low. At least it is made in the USA! |

I dunno. I think Carvin is having a sale, to ease everyone into their hefty price increase. For instance in their previous catalog, page 63. The BX500 was $359. The new catalog page 29, the BX500 is $399. Our singer purchased a few months back. The four channel DCM2004LX for $649. page 7. The newest catalog page 13, has this same power amp for a whooping $100 increase to $749. Every item in their catalog has been increased an average of between $40 and $100 dollars. Kinda doesn't make it so attractive anymore. I've been using Carvin products for 30 years. I purchased more of their stuff then most. I have the little DCM200l power amp for my guitar rig. Last catalog Page 7 price $279. Newest catalog page 13 same nice power amp for $319. Like I said....I dunno.  |
