I think it is using BC pedals. Timing may be a little different then written... This is just an idea.

Wayne Dahl is the steel player. He's been with Martina for over 15 years and is a great guy and a greater steel player....jr

Re-Who was the player with Martina McBride??

Unfortunately Martina now has gone totally rhythm&blues and no longer uses the GREAT Wayne Dahl on steel anymore. Wayne moved here to Austin for a while but has moved his family elsewhere; but we will hear more from him as he is just a wonderful steel player/musician/Person.

Not surprising to read about Martina's change in musical direction as her vocal style should lend itself much better to the R&B genre, (never really considered her to be a "Country" singer by any sense of the term). Saw her live some time ago and appeared to me that she was more intent on demonstrating her vocal chops (shouting more than actually singing?)than placing any real emotion into the song. Her 'Timeless' C.D. while a step in the right direction musically, to my ears, still featured too few moments of actual heartfelt vocals and for the most part, did little justice to the original recordings (the preceding comments were based on my observations only, yours may vary).
