Rose Sinclair is appearing with Redd Volkaert at El Mercado's 'Mystery Monday' tonight at 7:30pm.

Jon Kemppainen, Christine Albert and David Carroll also appearing. Eat good food, hear good music! Early birds get the best seating... don't be late!

El Mercado South is at 1302 S. First St. You should already be familiar with this location from Jim Stringer's Country Jam every first and third Sunday.

Well, Larry, you missed a good'ern... Redd was in fine form, and Rose has been using her time on the road to speeding up her right hand technique. The fiddler, Jon Kemppainen, was great... and incidentally is also a steeler, with an older Sho-Bud... I prevailed on him to come out this Sunday and jam, hopefully he'll bring the fiddle too! He and the bass player, David Carroll, had some great duet vocals going... David and Redd too... I guess that means David can sing backup well! And it had been months since I've seen Rose, so it was nice to get at least a little caught up.
