Does anyone know of a manufacturer that will make a single neck C6 with offset pedals?

Both Justice and Rittenberry will do it. Suspect you could probably talk Williams and Mullen into it, too.

Phillip, define {off set pedals}
This C6 guitar has 5 pedals and 5 knee levers.
The pedals start I believe on the second position.

I had Bill Rudolph of WilliamsPedal steel build me a 5 & 5 C6 with offset pedals years ago. Blonde lacquer….OH MAN , was that sweet!

Buddy Charleton played it and commented on what a fine job Bill had done. I regret having traded it away. :(

I'm thinking offset pedals means having the C6 pedals where they'd be in a D10 setup. When I converted my Sd-10 to a C6 that way, my LKL and LKR were on the wrong side of my left leg . I ended up moving them back to the normal E9 positions. Might have been able to move the 2 Left knee levers towards the center ( so my leg would be in between the 2 left knee levers).

No sure there is really any advantage to the offset other than you may be familiar with having the C6 pedals in the normal positions.

Tough to double foot with the pedals on the left.

Heck, I find it hard to double foot with 8 right next to the volume pedal.

Nearly all steels are custom, made to order. It'd cost more than a 3&4,but I think EVERYONE who makes guitars will build this axe

Gee, Mike "Purple" Perlowin, now why would that be? :)

I think Lane is correct; builders are clever enough to do he offsets to make it easy for you play, Phillip. Good luck . stevet
