How is this short lick played?

Post by Joachim Kettner »

Right after he sings "Mama Hated Diesels So Bad":

Could it be a rake starting on the third string going backwards to the fifth on fret five with A+B pedals and then going up to 10, no pedals?
It starts at 0:11 and ends at 0:13.

This is a great Bobby Black lick.
Try this Joaquim! The chord and 1st string ring together at the first bar of each lick.

Thanks Fred! I just noticed a small error and hope you don't mind the correction. In bar 2 only the F pedal should be down. As tabbed with A down there is no slide from 8 to 10 (8A and 10 is the same note).

And no A-pedal at the very point you mentioned Clete.

Clete, good catch. You're right. I tabbed that without my steel in front of me. I'll see if I can edit the tab above.
thx
