I have noticed two people with new Show Pro's lately, and thought it would be cool to see some more of Jeff Surratt's creativity. I will start this off with mine. If you can't play well like me, you might as well have a guitar that makes you look better. LOL.

I was fortunate to find it for sale used near my 'hood and it's what pushed me over to enter PSG-land

Wow, don't think I've ever seen a Show Pro in this finish before. Is that a silver to black burst? Would love to see a few more shots of this one, as well as any others.

Maybe more like battleship-gray-burst. It's definitely something different.

Wow! Had to bring this post back up to the top. I can't say enough good things about Show-Pro. They're one of the most consistent, innovating, thoughtful, and creative steel guitar manufacturers in the business today! I read or hear from time to time about Show Pro is like a new Sho-Bud, but Show-Pro is in it's own category. There are definitely Sho-Bud influences, especially cosmetically with the wood/lacquer physicality. Yet The Show Pro stands in a class of it's own mechanically and tonally. I definitely rely on all of my Show-Pro guitars on a daily basis and can relax knowing they pull through in any given situation. They also do great mechanical work on all brands of guitars.

Het Eddy, what a stable of Show Pro's . I believe if someone can envision what they want, Jeff can make it happen.

Here are my two. I am hoping that they will start breeding and provide me with a beautiful offspring.

Jeff Surratt is a genius at making guitars with fabulous tone.

Looks like Adam Ollendorff is playing the Show Pro Russ Pahl guitar with Kacey Musgraves in this NPR Tiny Desk concert. Man, what a gorgeous sounding steel...the playing is fantastic in my opinion.

I think that Jeff builds one of if not the most beautiful steel guitars available today. I'm looking at these and mopping up the drool from my floor.

No kidding Jerry.... I especially like those blue bursts....bursts in general.... I guess I will keep my day job. ..for a while. . haha.

Here is my new-to-me Show Pro.

I am really knocked out by your sparkly namesake model, Eddy. The pickups look like the old Jaguar-style pups they used to use long ago, but of course I don't know cruddola about them. I imagine all sorts of crazy out-of -phase sounds, maybe even laser guns and missile launchers coming out of that thing. But it looks vintage style classic, too. Your steel is making me think a little bit.



Man that is the coolest thing I've seen.

I haven't cared for this finish on Gibson guitars, I think they call it Silverburst. But this is unique and beatiful in my humble opinion. Nice one, Dave!
