Peavey Special 130

Post by Lonnie Portwood »

Looking for a Special 130 (Peavey) would consider amp not working IF intact and reasonably repairable, with cab in good condition. Lonnie

I have a Special 130 I got from GC for 2 bills. It was dead mint but needed new speaker and caps. That little thing is the meanest little tone monster around! It will kill anything onstage if you need it to. Nice clean power. Really need a speaker that can take it though. Heavy as hell for being so little. Btw I did Fox chip upgrade in mine. Don't even need to solder. Just pop in. Great amp. I played it next to reissue Bassman and it sounded very similar. I will be buried with mine most likely.
