I had a L-III brought in today that the owner has dropped..of coarse the rollers are bound up. I was wandering if anyone has had any trouble removing pin on nut roller ? I dont't want to harm the finish.

It has to be removed to repair...

Gary,
Use a small screwdriver or something that will fit in under the rollers and carefully pry them up , starting on one end. Sometimes I have to first lightly tap them with my small soft brass or small hard rubber hammer. Just be a little gentle and genger and don't try to force anything too hard. If you do happen to bend or kink the pin axle, replace it with a new one.
Also, if you need to, call or email me and I'll try to help you along. 281-856-9453

Sorry Bobby, Never pry up on the pin. Use a punch and drive the pin straight out. Especially on cast tuning heads(ShoBud, etc.). Those slots can break really easy, and you'll be stuck with an absolutely useless hunk of aluminum.
