"Stardust"
This evergreen composed by Hoagy Carmichael in 1927 needs no introduction. This is my latest interpretation. Steelocaster A6 tuning, instrumental backing is by Tony Kiek of Sydney. Key of E / F.

Kay, What I like when you play is that you are a melody player......very delightful and pleasurable.

Anders: It is my most favourite tune too, from Hoagy Carmichael. The lyrics by Mitchell Parish are very nice too . Thanks for the kind comment.
Wally: "Stardust" was written in 1927, which was in the middle of the Prohibition years...so I chose some dry eq to match
Wally, Doug, John, Chuck, Ron : Many thanks for the kind comments, the encouragement is greatly appreciated.

Bosse,
Many thanks for your comment. Hank Marvin is my #1 guitar hero (of any kind) and I have made many recordings of The Shadows tunes, including three CDs (Shadows on Steel, Shadows on Steel - Encore, Marvin on Steel) all available as albums or individual tracks on iTunes, Amazon and cdbaby. My latest CD (Sweet Sound of Beautiful) contains five more tracks.
I believe Hank knowingly or unknowingly tried to emulate the clean sound of the steel guitar with his use of the tremolo arm (to get vibrato and sustain) and various echo/reverb effects.
There are many Shadows Clubs in England, in the different countries in Europe, and in many parts of the world.
