That's such a shame. My condolences to Mr. Ghent and his family.

I've moved this to Gone Home from Steel Without Pedals.

To the Sacred Steel Family, and Brother Ghent in particular,
It is a fact, as it has been written, when a member of the body of Christ has been summoned to appear in the beautiful throne room of our Lord God. That there is no more suffering or pain, just His peace, and joy. Then the statement of Nehemiah 8:10 in it`s closing encourages the heart as it says" The Joy Of The Lord is your strength". To our dear friend and brother, the Lord be with you during this challenging time.
With the warmest of love.
Bishop Ronnie P. Hall

Is that Lori with him on the album cover?
They both look so young and healthy. I hope she didn't suffer. My condolences to Aubrey and his family on their loss.

My sincere condolences to Aubrey and the extended family.

When I first visited Aubrey in 1992 they were not yet married. Lori was a major life-changing force for him. She will be missed by many.

FYI, Arhoolie Records pres. Chris Strachwitz shot that photo during the Sacred Steel doc video shoot at Sonny Treadway's Jewell Dominion church in Deerfield Beach FL in May, 1997. Sonny had to attend a funeral out-of-town, so did not make the video shoot.

Sincerely,

Bob
