Now you can have a single coil pickup without that 60 cycle hum.

I have one of these puppies, and it works very well.

I used one when I had a single coil pickup steel. It really worked well, but did alter the sound a bit. Kinda like a slight flange effect(sort of a chorus/Hi frequency edge boost) Not too noticable when playing in a live situation with a band.

I use it and am glad to have it.

WAY better than living with the hum at my steady gig. And I can keep the original single-coil pickup in my Sho-Bud.

i wonder if this would work when i'm using two amps-deluxe reverb and princeton. all other methods have not. i've tried radial's pedals and stereo pedals but no luck. i've also recapped and added 3 prong cords to each amp.
thanks,

Michael, did you try lifting the ground on just one amp?

Michael, here is the safe way to remove ground loops when using two amps:

I don't believe the Hum Debugger would help in your case.

The Hum DeBugger does color the tone a bit, especially in the "strong" setting. Kinda gives an odd reverb (emphasis on odd). Usually, in those cases when the strong setting is necessary, it's on-stage, so it doesn't come thru as much in the mix. But you'll definitely feel it, knowing your own tone and monitoring yourself closely. The normal setting is pretty effective and the tone is not colored nearly as much.
