Hello My fellow steelers! :D
Well, here we go again. This one dates back into the early 60s When Tina Turner was just a teen. I hope you will enjoy it. This one took a lot of time to get it together.
enjoy!

Enjoyed that! First heard that tune by Jerry Douglas (on lap steel). I didn't know it was an Ike & Tina song till years later. You did it justice!

But, I want you guys to know, I appreciate each of your encouragements, compliments, thoughts etc. very much. Keep up the good work, warmest of thanks to all! Stay in touch! It means a lot! and be blessed all of you! I`ll be in touch!

Hi Ronnie,

Love this song and so nice to hear your rendition. Really nice and soulful playing as always. You are an inspiration!

I've been listening to Ry Cooder's instrumental version for years and never tire of it. You can here it here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_oYzxkfzJZ0

Ry plays bottleneck on this one.

Best,

Bill

Hey Bill! :D (Leff)
Had`nt heard from ya in some time! My former Detroit east side friend!
It is quite unusual, but I had been listening to this song by Ike and Tina Turner, from the days of high school, and I never paid it much attention until I heard Cooder`s album version of "Bop Till You Drop," that I remembered the song, and decided to do the version that you now hear.(It was 1962, that I first heard the original version) I trust that it brought a lot of memories to you, and others of that day too. Thanks for listening, stay in touch, and best to your loved ones,
Ron :)

Hi Bishop Ronnie,
Just played this and my wife said, that's beautiful, I love the tone. I must agree, it's a great tune tastefully played.

Hello! To Mr. and Mrs.Keith (Glendinning)!
:D
Glad to hear from the Married folks! Moreover, I`m thrilled to hear that you both enjoyed the song. That's why I recorded it, to bring on a smile to both of you, and all that I hope will possibly hear it. Thanks so much for your encouragement, it brings a smile to me as well. Be blessed! Stay in touch.
Ron
