Just thought I would share the latest lap steel to leave the nest. This one had buyer imput , type of wood (Cherry) shape (sorta frypan/banjo) ,pickup , (Alumnitone by Lace) Finish (minimal satin , hand rubbed) strung up for dobro GBDGBD (He's gonna add two more strings (??) I watched the Cherry log go thru the saw mill, watched it sit and air dry for two months, waited while it sat in the drying oven for 40 days to get it to 6% , and then was able to get to work. It came out very simple , and kinda classy I think. Enjoy

Thanks guys , I appreciate all the compliments. It's a learning process for sure, each and every instrument has its' own little oops to it. Some of the final results were not in the original game plan, but it all works in the end.
