For several days now I have been trying to get in touch with Carter Steel Guitars about an order I placed, and all I get is their answering machine. Does anybody know if the shop is currently closed? Or don't they ever answer the phone? My email inquiry last week wasn't answered, either. |

Hopefully they took a well deserved Thanksgiving vacation. My history of email & phone communication with them always has me wanting to tell them to go home, for goodness sake! But just to make sure, are you dialing (800) 969-7332 ? And Ann pointed out to me recently that it is essential to put the word Carter as the first word in the subject line to cut through the spam filter---they have been totally inundated by, as Ann describes, hundreds of spams an hour! Hope this helps and I hope all is well down there. |

Hans, please remember that Carter is THE PRIMO steel guitar manufacturer these days. Be patient and "ye shall be rewarded"!

Hans,
I believe Ann at Carter said they would re-open on the fourth. I am waiting on an order and I am pretty sure that is the ship date she gave me.
They all deserve a vacation after the job they recently did building my new Carter!

Thanks for your helpful posts. You people are great - and I am relieved. Thanksgiving, of course! Don't anybody call me a turkey for not remembering... |
